These clients wanted to keep the perimeter cabinets and change the island taking the raised bar off. I suggested taking out some of the bulky cabinets making this kitchen appear smaller than it was. The homeowner took out the recommended corner cabinet with appliance garage and cabinets flanking the window to show off the brick tile they both envisioned. They also raised the uppers and kept them to one level. We also re built the tall pantry cabinet with the microwave to open up the fridge area and entry to the kitchen from the hall.
It was a small but effective change for this beautiful home!
